Jesse started touring around 2008 and has been on stages across the world where through his travels he gained the inspiration needed to develop all aspects of his creative prowess. He leads his vision by producing, directing and also creative directing most of his visual releases. He is also a natural collaborator working with the likes of Logic, The Internet, Steve Lacy, Mac Miller, Rejjie Snow, NoName, Vic Mensa, Tinashe, Isaiah Rashaad, Calvin Harris and Chance The Rapper to name a few.

Born in Chicago, Boykins spent a few years of his childhood in Jamaica prior to settling with his mother in Miami. Involvement with his elementary school's choir and drama club proved to be a springboard, one that led to being picked as a member of the Grammy Jazz Ensemble. Later, at New York's New School University, he developed not only his vocals but songwriting, arranging, and production skills. Jesse is currently finishing up his next body of work: A short film & album entitled “Halo”.
