BIOGRAPHY

Melanie Fontana is a multi-platinum songwriter. She’s written singles that have recently debuted & charted #4 on Billboard’s Hot 100 (Week Of March 7, 2020), as well as contributed to four Billboard #1 albums by artists Justin Bieber & BTS.

She is most recently noted for co-writing “On” for BTS featuring Sia as well as “Boy With Luv” by Halsey & BTS. “Boy With Luv” landed her & her collaborators in the Guinness Book of World Records for “most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours” as well as “most viewed music video in 24 hours” & several more world records.

Melanie has also co-penned upcoming songs & singles with Dua Lipa, Cheat Codes, Lost Kings, DeathByRomy & others. 

She has participated on songs & singles recently released with The Chainsmokers, DeathByRomy, Halsey, BTS, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, R3hab, Daya, Shawn Hook, The Band Perry, Astrid S & more.

In Asia, she has upcoming releases with TXT, Taeyon, BTS & has had singles & album releases with Little Glee Monster, TWICE, Girls Generation, Everglow, TXT, Minzy, Flowsik, F(x), Hyolyn, Tiffany, BP Rania, Melody Day, IOI, Kumi Koda, Jay Park and is also known for co-writing  “Euphoria” off of BTS’s #1 Billboard & RIAA certified platinum album, ‘LOVE YOURSELF: Answer’.

She has joined forces & co-written songs with artists & writers such as Will I Am, Tommy Brown, Aj Mitchell, Afrojack, Meghan Trainor, Icona Pop, Danja, Kungs, Marshmello, Leland, The Stereotypes, Benny Benassi, Jhart, Marty James, TLC, Simple Plan & Lady Antebellum.

In late 2015, Melanie & Australian DJ “tyDi” were awarded the ‘most played song’ on BPM Sirius/XM for their co-written collaboration “Redefined”, on which she was featured as a vocalist.
